Due to extreme cold weather conditions tomorrow (sub-freezing wind chills), we have rescheduled the varsity match against North Gwinnett for March 18th. All JV practices will also be cancelled for the day.

The rain has started (and looks like it’ll stick around for a few days), so today’s matches have to be rescheduled. The JV home match vs. Grayson will now be on February 17th and the Varsity away match at Parkview will now be later in the season on March 17th.

There will be no practices tomorrow or Monday as the players have the day off from school. Students, use this time wisely to get some rest, catch up on some school work, and get ready for a tough few weeks of our upcoming schedule!

Today’s Varsity match is at Home against Lakeside. They are in Dekalb County and have a later dismissal time than us, which always results in a later start time when we play them (although, this year they are no longer in our Region).

The Lakeside Coaches proposed and we have agreed to playing our match today under the 8-game pro set format. This will allow us to finish at a much more reasonable time, especially on the heels of two straight long nights in a row for our players in some bitter cold temperatures.

If you’re planning on attending today’s match, please take note that it will conclude much quicker than our usual 2-of-3 set format.

Food and water have been secured for this week. Look for a sign-up genius soon for the remainder of the season.

Both the varsity and JV girls teams still need food coordinators. Unless we get a volunteer, there will be no organized food for away matches.
